What Causes Delay In Periods Despite Using Plan B After Having Sex?
I dont remember the last time i had my period....and I had sex on the 18 of march used a condom and it had slipped off my bf said he didnt cum but ya never know sometimes so i took plan b the day after its been about a week and a half maybe and ive had no period yet but ive been super bloated and crampy whats the earliest you should take a pregnancy test i took one thismorning but i was thinking it was to early for it but just to be on the safe side when should i take my next test
The usual time to take the test is 2-3 days before you are expecting your period. So if you are already delayed for your periods, this is the right time to take the test. If you are planning on second test, I would advise you to take it with first urine in the morning as urine is not diluted at that time. You can also go for a blood test for pregnancy.
If the test comes negative and you are more than 10 days delayed for your periods, I would advise you to visit a gynecologist for physical examination and further investigations.
I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.
Best, Dr. Viraj Shah
