I had a myomectomy on November 17 2015 the day of my surgery my period started the on December 17 I got my period according to my period calculator I was due to get it January 20 2016 but it was a no show is this normal after a myomectomy or could I be pregnant
Hello dear Understand your concern Delayed period is common after myemectomy due to hormone imbalance. If you had unprotected sexual intercourse, pregnancy should be confirmed by Blood HCG level or USG. Other cause: thyroid abnormality, PCOS, Endometriosis.
You need progesterone shot for withdraw bleeding Oral contarceptive pills for 3-4 months also help in regularize the period
