What Causes Delay In Periods?

Hi Dr. Grief, I had sex with this one girl about 3 months ago and she has not gotten her period. The thing is though, I was wearing a condom and I also used the pull out method to be extra safe. So Im wondering why she still has not gotten her period yet. Please help. Thank you

Hello,

We have to rule out pregnancy. You can go for a urine pregnancy test to check whether she is pregnant or not.

If periods delayed even after a negative pregnancy test, you have to consult a gynaecologist and start on hormonal pills to induce bleeding.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
