General & Family Physician 's  Response
Dear Mam, emergency contraceptive pills consists of harmone which prevents the fertilization and thus prevents the pregnancy.Due to increased levels of these harmones in body there may be some irregularisation in menstrual cycle and may lead to delayed menses as in your case.
Further I would like to suggest not to use emergency contraceptive pills on regular basis as they contains harmones and on regular use may cause adverse effects on your health and fertility also, you may prefer conventional methods like barrier(condom),contraceptive pills, uterine devices or injectable contraceptives.
I hope this would be helpful for you.
Thanks
