What Causes Delayed Menstrual Cycle After Inserting Essure?
What would cause me not to have a period. I had essurE put in in aug last year i bled for 2.5 months after then had the ultrasound it was inconclusive because i am allergoc to saline and iodine. They r 75% sure my tubes r sealed i have not had a period since jan 20th

You may have heavy or irregular periods, cramping or pain with periods, pain with intercourse, and in some cases joint problems or systemic symptoms attributed to your Essure. Delayed periods probably is not due to this. Better to contact your doctor if something else should be done.
