What Causes Delayed Menstrual Cycle Even After Taking Primolut-N?
iam 23 years old i just wanted to now that i was not having my menses my doctor recomended me to take primolut N 5mg tablet and gave me injection but still iam not having my menses proply i wanted to know whether i have to continue taking that tablet but my doctor told me not to take that tablet any more
Primolut is generally quite effective in treating delayed menstrual cycle. Withdrawal bleeding occurs by 3 to 5 days after stopping the drug. Generally the cycles will regularize in the next month. In case, Primolut is not effective, hormonal imbalance should be suspected and the cause should be identified. Pelvic ultrasound and thyroid function tests should be done.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
