What Causes Delayed Menstrual Cycle?
Hello, I am expecting my period soon but I m wondering if I may be pregnant. There was no penetration, but there was sexual contact. I was supposed to get my period on the 7th of last month, however I was just spotting until the 11th, when my period actually begun. During this time was when I was sexually active. I am experiencing no pregnancy symptoms, however some say that I shouldn t expect any symptoms until after I miss my period. I calculated my period to arrive the 8th, 9th, or 10th of this month, and I am usually very regular.

Delayed menstrual cycle is often caused due to anemia, thyroid issues, PCOS, stress, pregnancy, etc. Since your periods have always been regular, you should get your periods in time if not pregnant. However, if you are not on regular contraceptive pills and did not take emergency CP but you did not have penetrative sex then there is low chance of pregnancy though not nil as pre - ejaculate contains semen that can make you pregnant if it is in the fingers and goes into the vagina during foreplay. If you are not planning for a baby than you should always perform safe sex. If you miss periods, wait for a couple of days and get pregnancy test done.
