What Causes Delayed Menstruation And Negative Pregnancy Test?
I m 21 years old, have irregular menstrual cycle and last week I noticed by breasts are appearing to be larger in size but they also hurt and soar, lower back pain and cramping. No menstrual cycle but that happens often and a negative urinalysis for pregnancy. IN College, so funds are low

Understand your concern
You do not mention the last date of your menstruation cycle. Urine pregnancy test will give positive result 8-10 days after missed period from normal expected period date. But As your period was irregular, it is difficult to say about when your period will come. So I advice you to go for Blood HCG test, as it is very accurate and give positive result with in the 7 days of delayed period.
So it will rule out pregnancy.
In absence of pregnancy, following are the other causes of delayed period with symptoms like breast enlargement and soreness, lower back pain and cramping.
Hormonal imbalance, ovarian cyst/PCOS, Premenstrual symptoms.
It should be diagnosed by consulting the gynecologist by doing investigations like reproductive hormone analysis, USG scab and ovarian follicle study.
Gynecologist will prescribed following advice and medicine:
Progesterone or OCP should be provided to regularize the period.
Meftal spas for cramp and gentle massage to the breast, apply cold pack,
Drink lots of water and do regular exercise like walking and yoga.
