What Causes Delayed Menstruation And Negative Pregnancy Test?

i am 2 weeks late, i took a pregnancy test and it came up negative. I have been urinating frequently, waking up in the middle of the night multiple times. I am not sure if I am just overreacting or if I could actually be pregnant. What should be my next step?
