General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
I understand your concern
Delayed period other than pregnancy could be due to the hormonal imbalance, ovarian cyst, endometriosis, excessive stress, thyroid dysfunction, excessive weight loss/gain, change in the life style.
I would suggest to consult the authorized gynecologist and undergo reproductive and thyroid hormone analysis, USG scan, ovarian follicle study if you have not undergone.
Progesterone hormone preparation will helpful to induce the period.
Birth control pill can be used to regularize the period.
Other treatment will depend on the specific cause.
Avoid stress, take healthy diet, do regular exercise, drink plenty of water.
Hope this may help you
