What Causes Delayed Menstruation And Negative Pregnancy Test?
Hi yes please...i think I might be pregnant I m not 100% sure Im late in my periods I ve last seen it was on the 5th November but haven t seen it this month but I m feeling slightly sick and light headed but I m feeling tired at all times. I done a pregnancy test but it s negative think that might be because it was to early. So I just wanted to know from use that what do use think it might be?
Hello I share your concern Other than pregnancy there are other reasons for delay in menstruation so you need not to worry at all.
To begin with I would advise you for trans vaginal ultrasound to rule out pregnancy.
If it comes out to be negative than I would advise you for ultrasound to rule out PCOD (polycystic ovarian disease), PID ( pelvic inflammatory disease) and genitourinary tract infection and hormonal study to establish a diagnosis and subsequently it's treatment.
Pregnancy card test is not always accurate and have to confirmed by ultrasound.
Hope this answers your question please feel free to ask for follow up question with relevant medical history so that I will be able to tell you more accurately. Best wishes
