What Causes Delayed Menstruation With Mood Swings And Lower Back Pain?
i m 12 days late to my periods.. docs suggest me to take duphaston for 5 days.. i have symptoms like frequent urination, tender breasts.. back pain...head ache.. tiredness.. mood swings.. am i pregnant? took hpt few days back and its negative.. when should i take hpt again? i had an ovarian cyst on my left and got removed on last december .. is there any reason for my missed period?

Pregnancy tests detect the HCG hormone which is released during pregnancy.
This hormone is normally detectable by day 11 to 14 after possible conception.
If you have passed this point then the test is conclusive and you are not pregnant. This would mean that the symptoms may be pre menstrual and your period would soon start.
If you did the test early, then it should be repeated.
