What Causes Delayed Period After Having Unprotected Sex?

Plz help.i had my periods on 5july.i had un protected sex with my bf on 11 july.took unwanted 72 .again started to bleed on 17 july.it ended on 22 july this month on 20 august i again had sex.i still had not got my periods.and i also stared medication for thyroid on 1 4august.shold i take pregnacy test or wait for some more days.help i am very stressed.

I understand your concern.
Previous encounter of unprotected sex and taking Unwanted 72, following which you had bleeding episode is fine as the pill protects from pregnancy by means of withdrawal bleeding.
Now, the next episode, seems that you have not taken any precautions and you have delay in periods.
You need not wait for long as delay in periods, that too with unprotected sex, always carries a chance for becoming pregnant.
Kindly check your urine for pregnancy and Consult Gynecologist at the earliest for appropriate management.
