What Causes Delayed Period After Taking I-pill Followed By Sex?
Hi, I had sex and took and ipill about 4-5 days later. Since m a thyroid patients my periods are quite irregular ,also I took ipill almost 10-15 days prior to my actual date. However there has been no bleeding!!! and it s 4-5 days since I took a pill......Should I be worried???

Hello, Thanks for writing to HCM.
You need not be worried for the following reasons. Like you mentioned, hypothyroidism can cause irregular cycles. Secondy, i pill itself in almost all patients causes a delay in the cycles which is well known. Its related to the hormonal content of the medications.
You can wait for another 10 days or so.
