What Causes Delayed Period After Taking Unwated 72?

Hello, My friend(girl) had a sex for the first time on 2nd June and it was for 2-3 times, she bleeded due to the loss of virginity but then she took unwanted72 the next afternoon. Then again she had an intercourse on 3rd June. so she went to gyno on 4th june and the doctor suggested for unwanted72 and some medicine for irritation. She had taken one more unwanted72 on 29the may since she and her boyfriend tried to have sex but wasn t able to do because of the pain she had . She bleeded on 12 th June for 5 days but that was moderate. And her periods were due on 22nd June but hasn t got it till now. She has taken the pregnancy test on 30th June (i.e. 28th day from 2nd june ) and that was negative. Please give some advice.

Unwanted 72 is an emergency contraceptive pill. It would help to prevent unwanted or accidental pregnancy by causing withdrawal bleeding in the form of periods within 3 weeks from the day of its intake.
Since she has already got her periods within the stipulated time after taking the pills, it states that she is not pregnant.
However, the next date of her periods would alter accordingly to the number of days she used to have for her previous cycles.
Kindly wait for the periods to happen next and there is no need to worry unnecessarily.
It would be advisable to use proper protection like condoms and spermicides while having intercourse during this period.
