What Causes Delayed Period And Brown Vaginal Discharge While HPT Is Negative?

Hi, I missed my period, delayed by 11 days. Last month i took pill for period to come as last month also i missed the period but pregnancy test was negative(suggested by gynyc). 5 days Before my date there was brown discharge which was only for one day. Please advise if this is due to some other health issue or m i pregent. Because when i took home pregnancy test this month on 5th May that was negative. When i can check the same and is there any other way to confirm if i am pregnant or not.

Hello,

I am sorry you haven't mentioned the date of your last period i.e., LMP (last menstrual period). However, your period is delayed by 11 days. The home pregnancy test done on 5th may was negative. I suggest you to repeat the home pregnancy test again now. If it is negative, please get an ultrasound of the pelvis done to check for any other issues within the uterus or the ovaries. Also, if you are pregnant, ultrasound would give a confirmatory result on the same.
