What Causes Delayed Period And Headache After Having Protected Sex?

I had protected sex but my period is late. Me and my boyfriend had a lot of sex this month and we were always protected and when he finished he always pulled out to be sure and we always check the condom for holes. For the last week I had my usual pre menstrual cramps. We had sex yesterday and I was due today(Febuary 28th) but there is no bleeding. I woke up with a headache only. I think we also had sex on my ovulation day(protected) so could that have delayed my period? Please help I m pretty scared...

Dear thanks for the question.

Chances of pregnancy are rare if condoms have been used in proper way. So don't worry. Delay in periods can be due to several other things like stress, disturbance in your routine, change in the place where you stay. So don't worry periods will regularise in few days.

However if you still suspect pregnancy go for a simple urine stick test with first morning sample. It would be negative. If positive visit gynaecologist urgently if you want to avoid it.
