General & Family Physician, Dr. Vasudha's Response
Hi,
Ipill is an emergency contraceptive. It has high dose of hormones which postpone ovulation & conception.
This causes a delay in periods Your periods are likely to be delayed by 10-15 days.
In case you did not have unprotected sex during postponed ovulation (likely to be postponed by 8-10 days. You would definitely get periods. Please don't worry.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
