What Causes Delayed Period When Tubes Are Tied?

Hi, I had my tubes tied almost eight years ago. I have been regular every month since then. I am now 8 days late and I feel crampy but no cycle yet. I took a home pregnancy test and it was negative. I am 39 years old almost 40. Could I be pregnant?

Dear,
Ur symptoms are not suggesting about pregnancy, rather they are m.ore towards menopausal symptoms which starts from delay in periods , irregular bleeding and many other symptoms.
Since ur upt is negative so initially there is no need to worry but if yr periods doesnot start within 15 days u should visit ur gynecologist.
