What Causes Delayed Period While UPT Is Negative?

I stopped the birth control pills 12/21/14 i had a period 12/27/14 then i had one on 1/23/15 i was due again 2/19/15 i never started i am trying to conceive with my husband. I have always been regular with my period. I am having what seems to be pregnancy symptoms. But every test is negative. My question is after stopping the pill can it cause me to have a normal cycle then not the next month. Or am i back on track after my first normal cycle?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Birth control pills do not interfere with ovulation and conception once stopped.
Thus, you can expect have normal cycles and normal ovulation after stopping the pills.
A urine pregnancy test becomes positive 10-14 days after conception thus the pregnancy test should be done 10-14 days after conception.
If the test comes out to be negative then pregnancy is ruled out for all practical purposes.
The symptoms similar to that of pregnancy can also occur in pre-menstrual syndrome.

Thanks and take care
