Hi, i m 29 years old , height - 5 7 & weight - 68 kgs I missed my period last month and i m about to approach my next month period. Last period date:[april 16th-2016] Missed period: may 16th couse started: 28th may I took a course of Meprate 10 mg, for 5 days (twice a day) according to my doc s prescription. i finished the course on 2nd june but still i didnt have my periods . I never missed a period, this is the first time i missed out ?? What should i be doing next?
As per my clinical experience, the delayed period, not showing up after course of Meprate indicates possible multi-ovarian syndrome or other hormone imbalance most likely. A baseline ultrasound of the abdomen & pelvis is warranted at this stage for primary work up and later on management guidelines can be figured out accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
