What Causes Delayed Periods After A Medical Abortion?

Hi i was pregnant initially and was asked by my doctor to take pills to abort which was successful. I got my periods after that and the consecutive next 2 months. Recently i shifted to another country and i have not received my periods(feb 15) was my date and today is march 27th- i am scared its pcos. Can u guide me

Thanks for asking. I understand your concern.
Medical abortion can cause menstrual irregularity in following couple of months....due to temporary hormonal imbalance. But it does not usually cause pcod.
Possibility remains that you already had pcod. ..with annovulatory cycles.....had spontaneous ovulatuon in between &conceived the same time.& pcod was reveiled after abortion when investigated for delayed periods.
Get yourself treated after consulting a gynecologist.
