What Causes Delayed Periods After Receiving A Cortisone Shot?

Hi my name is Karina and I am 18 years old. 2 months ago I got a cortisone shot for tendinitis in my wrist, last month my period was a week late, this month I have not gotten a period yet (almost 2 weeks late). I took a pregnancy test but it read negative. Should I take more than one test or just see my primary care doctor.

Hi, I think if your test is negative, you aren't pregnant. Sometimes periods get delayed due to stress also. You can take some progesterone like deviry or meprate for inducing periods. Consult a gynecologist.
