What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking Norethisterone?

Hi so i was taking norethindrone 35mg was prescribed to me after giving birth i started them before i got my period and that same day i was bleeding for like a week i don t know if that was my period or what. Then at 3 weeks from drinking the pill i stopped because of all the side effects and to this day i haven t had a period.?

Some women may experience breakthrough bleeding or spotting when delaying their period this way. Women who are not taking a contraceptive pill can use norethisterone tablets to postpone their period.Norethisterone tablets are pills to stop your period. They can be used to delay your period, for example when going on holiday. Norethisterone tablets need to be taken three days before you expect your period to begin and delay your period until three days after you have taken the last tablet.
