What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking Postinor 2?

Hi. I use postinor 2 on 30th march, 2017. And my last Menstral period was 24th March, 2017. Since that time, my menstruation has seized because d menses suppose to have come on 17th April. Kindly advice the delay and having done pregnacy test was negative and pelvic scan result was diagnisis: NOT OBVIOUSLY PREGNANT. Ovaries: not cystic, not bulky. Waiting for your kindly advice

Hello,

Postinor 2 is emergency contraceptive medicine. It is used once as an emergency. How many days cycle yours is it 28 days or 21days or 35 days.

Delayed periods may be due to infection or anaemia or due to levonorgestrel intake or pregnancy or stress.

Please repeat your urine pregnancy test after one week if positive consult your doctor. If negative don't worry it may come.
