Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Postinor 2 is an emergency contraceptive pill. After taking the pill, it would prevent pregnancy by causing breakthrough bleeding within 3 weeks from the day of its intake. Hence, your period schedule can change accordingly. Intermittent spotting, white discharge, pain in the breasts and back could happen with the intake of the pill, but will eventually subside with symptomatic treatment. Kindly wait for 3 weeks for bleeding to happen. If it doesn't happen, take urine pregnancy test and seek medical attention promptly. Hope the information provided helps. All the best. Regards, Dr.Ashakiran.S., MBBS., MD.
