What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking Primolut N?

Hi doc I have taken Primolut n tablets in dec to delay my period. My menstrual cycle after that was regular until this month. Im overdue by 2weeks. Done a pregnancy test, the result was negative. Me and my husband have been controlling, so dont think it could be possible that im pregnant. But we still worried because my period is always regular. This is the first time im overdue. Could it be the side effect of Primolut n that my period is delayed? Please help... Thanks

Hi, I think it can't be due to the primolut N. Sometimes stress can also lead to delayed periods. You can take some medicines like progesterone for inducing periods. Consult your doctor. If it is happening often, get a thyroid profile and prolactin levels done and a ultrasound for your uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of irregular periods.
