What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking Unwanted 72?

Hello . I had unprotected sex on 31st July and took unwanted 72 after 40-50 mins of the intercourse.. my last menses came on 21st July an were ended on 26th July. Please let me know will unwanted 72 work ? As I took unwanted 72 last time in starting of the May month. But got regular and proper flow periods. Please revert ASAP.

Unwanted 72 if taken within 24 hours of unprotected sexual intercourse will prevent pregnancy from occuring in 96-98% cases.
Usually you get periods on expected time and it is not altered due to this tablet.
It is likely that you will get periods on your scheduled time.Delay will be said to occur if you donot get periods after 7-9 days of expected date.
This delay can occur because of pregnancythough less likely/stress/anaemia/obesity/overexertion.
You may need to do urine pregnancy test and meet gynaecologist if periods are delayed.
