What Causes Delayed Periods After Taking An I-pill?
I have query about presence. My gf just 16 years old she took already 2 ipill tablet and get period But this time. She took ipill last month and get period and then again she took ipill but not get period within 10 days.her date is 25 any worry about presence.
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
The delayed period is likely due to hormonal variations associated with I-pill. However, it is best to take a home pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy. Please also note that frequent use of I-pill which is considered an emergency contraception is not recommended. You need to resort to other methods like condoms (which have the added benefit of protection from sexually transmitted infections) or combine oral contraceptive pills.
