Hi doctor I need help I took ecp pills after unprotected sex. I took the pills on 15th july. I got my last period on 3rd july. I had bleeding soon after i took the pills for 3 days. Hi,

I understand your concern.

Emergency contraceptive pills do contain hormones that would alter the hormonal balance in your body. This explains why your periods are delaying.

Give time until they come. Thick discharge you are getting lately is suggesting periods are coming in a few more days.

Take ibuprofen or diclophenac to speed up bleeding.
All the best.
