What Causes Delayed Periods Along With Abdominal Cramps And Bloating?

I got my period 6 days late. My cycle is normally very regular. This cycle I had awful cramping and bloating and my period was very very light brown blood and spotting lasting approx 1.5 days. The cramps have gone but I m still unbelievably bloated and uncomfortable. I have done a pregnancy test 2 days ago and it was negative. Any ideas why this cycle is so strange

Hi, I think it can happen sometimes due to stress factor. But if it continues to happen like this, you should consult a gynecologist to rule out infections. You can take mefenamic acid tablets to relieve the cramps. Hope I have answered your question.
