Hi Sibi, I have gone through your problem. The cause of your delayed periods may be pregnancy, thyroid dysfunction or the progesterone (duphastone) you are taking. So, I would suggest you to get a urine pregnancy test. If it is positive, you should get a ultrasound done to rule out any ectopic pregnancy since you had an episode of dizziness and backache. If your pregnancy test is negative, then you should stop taking duphastone and get a thyroid function test to rule out any thyroid dysfunction. You should get your periods within 7-10 days of stopping duphastone if you are not pregnant and your thyroid functions are normal.
