What Causes Delayed Periods Along With Breast Tenderness?

i have taken ipill without ejacuation out of fear and now my periods is late for 3 days i am getting my regular periods symtoms like tenderness of breast and back pain but nothing is happening, i have done pregancy test also it shows negative what shall i do ?? My periods were regular all the time this is he first time i am facing this problem.. Please Suggest and i hav spoken wiyh my gync also she suggested me to take regestrone 5 mg for 5 days will it work ?
