Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Causes Delayed Periods Along With Fatigue And Body Ache?
Good evening! I have been having some symptoms that i am quite alarmed about. I have not had a period snce thanksgiving, I am extremely fatigued, and my body is sore, my feet are so sore i don t even feel comfortable standing. I have had a lot of weight gain as well.
Explanation: My opinion is that simple and first thing we need to check for is pregnancy. Vague symptoms like you experiencing may be explained by that.
I suggest my patients the following after excluding pregnancy, we may need to check for other medical conditions such as thyroid, hormonal problems, and psychological assessment.
The information provided by you is not sufficient to provide a good opinion. If someone comes to me with this condition I would ask them about another medical history that may be related to your condition.
Conclusion: I suggest you do a pregnancy test then check with your physician
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Mahmmad Gamal
