HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
Pregnancy tests detect the
HCG hormone which is released in increasing amounts as a pregnancy progresses.
By day 11 to 14, the levels of HCG are detectable by urine tests and pregnancy can be diagnosed.
If the tests were done by this time then they are accurate and you are not pregnant.
The spotting may then be your period about to begin.
The other causes of delayed period are: (1) emotional
stress or illness
(2)high levels of a hormone called prolactin
(3)physical illness
(4)abnormal levels of the
thyroid hormone
(5)side effect of medication
(6)polycystic ovarian syndrome
If they were done before this time, then they should be repeated and it is possible that they were falsely negative and you are pregnant. If this is the case, you would need to see someone regarding the bleeding
I hope this helps
