What Causes Delayed Periods Along With Heavy Bleeding?

I am 7 days late in my period. Yesterday I bled a tiny bit, but this morning I woke up bleeding and throughout the day I have been bleeding very heavy to the point of having to change every 30mins and STILL leaking. Me and my partner are also trying for a baby but am really worried x

Hello and welcome.

This could be your period, but as mentioned by tou the bleed is more heavy than you usually experience. A host of factors could be the reason for the same, and so if you are on any medications, have any ongoing infections, had aggressive sexual contact, etc; all of these can contribute to your presentation. But if your bleeding continues to be heavy even after a day or two, then please do schedule a doctors appointment for a more elaborate one-on-one consultation.
