What Causes Delayed Periods Along With Thick Brown Vaginal Discharge?

The last couple days I ve had thick dark brown discharge, and my period is about two weeks late. Five pregnancy tests are showing negative so it s not that. I am supposed to start my third month of Clomid as soon as I come on. My clitoris is soooo sore and I am itchy all around that area. The discharge is drying up and I think it s contributing to the itch. It s horrible!!! I haven t had any other sexual partners so it can t be an STD or anything, but if you thought it could be - what sort would it be?

Hi, thanks for asing question,The brown discharge is nothing but the blood coming out. Yes you are not pregnent. the brown discharge may be premenstrual spotting, it may be due to ovarian causes as you said you are using the clomid medication for ovulation induction. About your itching may be bacterial,or candid infection due to prolonged brownish discharge. There is a treatment for itching[intra vaginal pessaries]. The PH of vagina changes with pronged discharge it causes candid or other infectionS. I would have suggested the same to my patient who comes to my clinic.Regarding clomid medication you have to staet after your regular periods on 2nd or 3rd of periods depending on your doctors advise.
