What Causes Delayed Periods Along With Vaginal Spotting And Frequent Urination?

My last period should ve been at the end of February. I had some very light spotting although I m typically heavy. I ve been experiences nipple soreness, sharp ovarian pains on my right side, constant urination, a higher than normal body temp, and an increased appetite. I took a home pregnancy test 4 days ago and it came up negative. Is it possible that it s too early to detect my pregnancy or is it something else?

Hi,

Yes, it is too early to do a home pregnancy test. It takes at least three weeks HGC to first appear in urine, so you need to do it at least three weeks from your mid-period.

Sometimes periods are scanty because of hormonal imbalance too. You can visit a gynecologist to rule out any PCOD type of disorder.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
