What Causes Delayed Periods Along With Vaginal Spotting And Sore Breasts?
I am 42 year old women trying to conceive. Have two children 16 years and 10 years old. I had a misscarriage last october.I have been trying to conceive past one year. 13th july was my expected period date. Since 12th july early morning i start spotting. Brownish discharge and some pinkish discharge if i insert tissue to check. My nipples are sore last few days. Too a pregnancy test today 13th july and it cam out negative. What is exactly happening. Should i see a gynae??
Since you have a negative pregnancy test, you are suggested to wait for a few days. Repeat urine & blood test to confirm pregnancy. HCG shows up faster in blood than urine.
If you have negative reports again then you should consult your gynecologist. You are in peri-menopausal phase so you may have breast tenderness, fatigue, irregular periods, etc.
Avoid smoking, alcohol, addictions if any Take adequate sleep avoid stress. Get clinically examined, get treated at the earliest.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K, General & Family Physician
