What Causes Delayed Periods And Abdominal Cramps?

Hello I missed my period and my last LMP was 13th Feb 2017. I met doctor at 6th week time. She did a transvaginal scan and said she couldn t identify any baby and I had a empty sac. Same day I had blood test and it showed 17000 hcg count and the next test after 48hours showed only 21000. Doctor asked to meet her after 10 days. I still have cramps but no bleeding. Will I have a positive pregnancy or a miscarriage? Kindly advise. I had a miscarriage earlier in September 2016 at 4 weeks .

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I think you should go for a scan after 10 days. It will confirm if you are having a miscarriage or not. BhCG value is suggesting that most probably it will be a non-viable pregnancy. I think as you had an abortion previously also, get yourself evaluated. Get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and an ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of miscarriages.
