What Causes Delayed Periods And Negative Pregnancy Result?

Hello My period is late for 12 days.. and its irregular.. I went to doctor they told me I m not pregnant... but wait... I m married... but this month we didn t had any relation we had relation on 32nd day that is when my period is due.. is it possible to get pregnant?

Thanks for posting in HCM.
Delay in periods of yours might be due to some hormonal imbalance. For this you need to check your FSH, LH and Prolactin levels to find out what might be the reason, if it gets further delayed.
Regarding the status of pregnancy, kindly check your HCG levels in serum and urine (Urine Pregnancy Test), although you have shown to doctor. It gives you more clear picture.
If that is negative, then having relation on 32nd day is unlikely to make you pregnant, unless your ovulation happens very late due to irregular cycles.
