What Causes Delayed Periods And Pink Vaginal Spotting?
Hi I have a question my last period was march 15th i didn t have no period in the month of April now it s the 5th of may I seen some light pink spotting only when I wipe not enough for a pad or a liner but then it stopped I thought I was bout to have my period but it wasn t that two days ago I seen something clear looks like water and goo && some light pink but only when I wipe what should I do or what do you think going on
I think you should do a urine pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy first if you are sexually active. If negative, it can be due to some vaginal infection or hormonal imbalances. Get a pelvic examination done by a gynecologist. You can take some medicines like Meprate or Deviry for inducing periods.
You may need some antibiotic and antifungal drugs orally as well as vaginal to treat if there is any infection. Also, get a thyroid profile and prolactin level and a ultrasound done to see uterus and ovaries to find out the cause of delayed periods.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Khushboo Priya
