What Causes Delayed Periods And Severe Backache After A Miscarriage?

I had a miscarriage 6 weeks ago and I was 4-5 weeks pregnant. I have yet to receive my period back and today I have had sharp pain in my back as well as abdominal pain. Is this normal or what should I do. I tried to get in with my dr but they have yet to contact me back.

Hello,

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persists better to consult a gynaecologist and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
