What Causes Delayed Periods And Vaginal Spotting?

Hi, i am 24 and unmarried. I am currently facing delayed periods. This never happens with me. Last month i had them on 25th april. But this month, nothing till now. I had spotting around 9th may. And i had gone for a trip on 11th may to 15th may which was very tiring and stressful. I got physical with a guy there, though penetration was just fr 2 sec n he said he did not ejaculate inside. But i am extremely freaked out. I took a pregnancy test on 27th may but it came out to be negative. Apart from this, i am also having itching in my vagina since a few days. What should i do?

Hello Dear. You can get a Urine pregnancy test done again to rule out pregnancy. Apart from this you can also get a urine analysis done to rule out urinary tract infection. If urinary tract infection is present doctor may prescribe antibiotics like norflox twice daily for a week and syrup citralka 5ml thrice daily for a week. Itching in vagina may be due to some infection. You can apply candid cream in the area for a week, maintain perineal hygine and also take tablet cetrizine to reduce itching.
