What Causes Delayed Periods Despite Taking Levonelle Post Unprotected Intercourse?
Hello doctors, I had an unsafe sex with my boyfriend on the 15th afternoon and I have taken levonelle on the 17th morning(within 48hours). My period should due on the 16th( I use a reliable mobile app to help me monitor but sometimes like once in 3-4months it does come later than estimated). However my period still has not come while I found a little spotted today. I wonder if I was pregnant? I am too young to be pregnant so these days I am really nervous I can t pay attention at work or anything at all.
So as you are not having any other symptoms you can wait for one more week and if you will not resume it than consult a Gynecologist and get yourself examined; investigation done to rule out the above mentioned causes.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
