What Causes Delayed Periods Despite Taking Unwanted-72 Post Unprotected Sex?

hi I have taken a mtp kit when I was 3 weeks pregnant. then bleeding started and finished after 2 weeks. after that only one night i was with my husband so this time I had taken unwanted 72 to avoid using mtp kit afterwards the same happen again after one week and again I have taken unwanted 72. everytime when I took unwanted 72 I have taken it within 48 hours This all happen in one moth only. after all of this I did not sleep with my husband. but when one month is completed (after stoping bleeding cause due to MTP kit) and I did not get my periods again. then I again waited for 1 week. I was sure that it should not be pregnancy because everytime (2 times) I have taken the unwanted 72. but when I checked then I found I am again pregnant. then I went to doctor. she said I am 4 weeks pregnant. Again I have taken mtp kit. this all (2 times unwanted 72 and 2 times mtp kit) happen in 40 days. unfortunately Both time when I have taken mtp kit I need to do journey of 40 hours by train. After taking MTP kit second time, initially the bleeding was continue but less than I experienced before So I went to doctor She said everything is OK uterus is clean now. If the bleeding will not stop after one week then come to me. My bleeding did not stop even after 2 weeks so she said there might be some harmonal changes due to which this occur so she gave me novelon to take for one month. Now novelon is completed and I gain started bleeding. Its now 5th day of bleeding and it is not like periods. It is heavy bleeding similar to bleeding after taken MTP kit. Now please tell me what should I do?

Thanks for your query.I have read your query carefully & understand your concern.
* Frankly speaking, all of this is due to self medication.. without a doctors advise.
* Emergency contraceptives ( Unwanted 72 )are meant for avoiding pregnancy with unexpected unprotected sex. It has to be taken only in emergency.. & not on routine contraception. Emergency contraceptives are high hormone preparations. They prevent pregnancy by postponing ovulation. also they do not help in case pregnancy has already occurred. This must be the case with you.
MTP kit also is to be used only to abort unwanted pregnancy. It is to be used sparingly..
* Madam, you have used both emergency contraception & also MTP kit liberally over a short period of 40 days! It had resulted in lot of hormonal mess .. causing all the trouble to you.
* In such condition, you should get examined by a gynecologist. Investigation like USG would help to assess any retained products while second MTP kit./ Blood Hb%, bleeding & clotting time would help in planning treatment.
You may need D&C operation to clear the uterus / three cycles of hormonal contraceptives to control the hormonal imbalance
- I would advise regular cyclical oral contraceptives .. to avoid repeat use of emergency contraceptives.
