What Causes Delayed Periods For An 18-year-old Teen?
I had protected sex in the month of April last using condom n after sex I had one birth control pill. I got my prds by 10 may. Than suppose to get my periods by 6/7June but today is 24June n I missed my periods. I tested at home using pregnancy test kit if m pregnant but test says I m not pregnant.now I am 18 days delayed. What should I do or which medicine I should take coz I think I am not forming egg may be it s blocked bcz of side effects. Plz help
The changes in the periods dates is likely due to hormonal imbalance caused by the pill you used as mild alteration can occur after such pills and is one of the common side effects however this is temporarily and comes back to normal gradually, though for reassurance if problem persists, gynecologist review and local examination or ultrasound pelvis may be needed if problem persists.
