What Causes Delayed Periods In Women With Hashimoto S Disease?

Hi! I am a 25 year old Caucasian, woman. I weigh 100 as of today. I was down to 96 pounds just two weeks ago, but have been taking protein shakes and ensure(s) daily since. My normal weight has always been abo9t 115 pounds (never less than 113 and never more than 118!) I was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto s auto immune disorder. With that being said, I have an upper and lower G.I. appointment scheduled for 3/6/15 to further figure out what is going on with me. I have several other abnormalities on my blood tests along with a total weight loss of 20 pounds within the last few months. (along with constipation and abdominal pains, which is why I am having the GI procedure done. Hopefully will get answers there.) I also have a referral for a MRI of my brain/pituitary gland, because I have not had a menstrual cycle since September 2014.... my endocrinologist wrote the referral for the MRI... I have become so frustrated with my health. It has caused me to be more fatigued than not and also not as happy as I used to be. Whatever is wrong with me is consuming my life. I try to do my best to remain positive and have energy, but it never lasts long. I had thought I had Addison Disease as well because I have majority of the symptoms, but when I was tested, my endocrinologist said I did not have it. She also tested for multiple MYELOMA and said that since the M-spike came back negative, that I was negative for MYELOMA because that is what they go by. After researching the bone cancer, I was persuaded I had it, until my Endo told me otherwise. I can t decide if I need to find another doctor or not. She isn t as personal as I would like her to be, but she s the only one who has given me a diagnosis (Hashimoto s)... is there anything you would suggest? Also is there anything on my blood work that you would like to know that may help you with directing me to what else might be wrong with me? I really appreciate your time. Thank you! -HEATHER W.
