Hello, You may get spotting and flow very less compared to normal periods. It is due to hormonal imbalance. PCOD causes high level of androgens, inflammation of the reproductive organs, heredity, high level of insulin and obesity. You are suggested to maintain healthy weight. Do regular exercise and walking both in the morning and evening. Take no junk food, you are advised to take a gluten-free diet, take home made food. Avoid carbohydrate. Lower down the blood glucose levels to normal at all cost. Medications are given to treat hormonal imbalance and insulin resistance. To regulate menstruation and protect against endometrial cancer, progestin therapy is administered for about two weeks that is repeated every month or so. You have been prescribed Krimson 35 and metformin, do continue to take it. You periods will be regulated. It may take some time. Maintain a healthy lifestyle. Take care.
