What Causes Delayed Periods Post A Medical Abortion?

My friend had a medical abortion using mifiprestone and misoprotol...she did an ultrasound few days later to confirm if the drugs worked, it showed there was no sign of pregnancy, two weeks later she had unprotected sex,she used ampliçox the second day after having the sex and prostinor 2 the third day, like 5 days later she had another unprotected sex but this time she used the drugs within 4hrs of having the sex, now she s worried of being pregnant because she hasn t seen her period since she had the abortion which is over a month now, cause she said her stomach is getting big could she be pregnant? She used a pt strip but was negative, pls reply

Understand your concern
Delayed period in your cause is due to hormonal imbalance.
As there is no sign of bleeding after abortion, chance of incomplete abortion is less. But USG must be done to confirm the complete process of abortion.
As you have taken emergency contraception pill twice with in short time, it cause hormonal imbalance (it contain high progesterone) that lead to menstrual delayed/irregularity.
Progesterone prolong the luteal phase of cycle and lead to delayed period.
In pregnancy also pregnancy test will come positive 10-10 days after missed period. so period should be come in 7-8 days.
Do not use postinor 2 as regular contraception
If will not then consult the gynecologist and go for USG and hormonal analysis and manage accordingly.
